There was a Time When the Sixth Street Corridor in San Francisco was a Mom and Pop type Business zone with the Kind of Businesses that made America Great.This was before BART,The Crack epidemic,The Real Estate Bubble and The Wall Street Greed Epidemic.The Sixth Street Corridor Enjoyed the Foot Traffic from the Theater District.The area was a Vibrant Middle Class District.The SRO Hotels in those Days were Clean and Safe.

The Sixth Street Corridor has seen Too Much BLIGHT after the Crack and Amphetamines Epidemic took over.The Chair and Couch Building OWNED BY SOME CERTAIN PATELS is AN EYESORE and THEY CONTINUE to DISRESPECT San Francisco.

Multiple years of drug use has it's Obvious Effects.Some of these Citizens are walking Skeletons and Dependent on the System.There can be no Change without an Interruption in the supply.

The Tweaks are a scandalous Breed.The Cranksters and Crackheads make a Myriad of Drug Users that Sixth street has become.

There are However brave Urban Heroes on The Sixth Street Corridor.The Passion Cafe is a Full Service French Restaurant on Sixth Street.They Start as a Coffee Pit Stop in the Morning offering tasty Pastry.Then they Morph into a Full Service French Restaurant form Lunch to Closing.Imagine Beef Bourguingnon and Creme Brulee on Sixth Street.They are Paving the way for Other Brave Pioneers.Reclaiming Sixth Street a Little at a Time.

The Business as Usual Routine will be Broken.The BLATANT DRUG DEALS need to STOP.San Fransisco will never be able to Reclaim the streets without a Proactive approach.That is what Over the Counter Cannabis sales in a 501C3 Harm Reduction center is a Proactive approach that will take the Cannabis sales away from the Drug Thugs and Give Needed Revenue to Charity.Will the Drug Cartels do that? Unfortunately Dennis Peron is Not for the Cannabis Tax Act of 2010.He went as far as to break ties with Oaksterdam and is still opposed.He is Right about a few points but some of what he worries about will not happen and the Medical Cannabis will not be Effected.He is Just Opposed to a Tax Period.





Dennis You are still The One who Inspired many of us to actively change the Law.This will keep citizens out of Jail and That is The Largest benefit.The Money spent Incarcerating Cannabis Growers is absurd.




Yes it Does Not take a Genius to Recognize the Benefits.There are some Issues that will be resolved with amendments.The Citizens who are being Jailed will stop and the wasted resources will be redirected to more important issues.



Dennis Peron is The Premier Cannabis Trail Blazer.His courage is inspiring.He had a Stroke Yet he is still busy advocating.We feel if he had to Stop it would Kill Him.Dennis was right to protest the Tax on the basis that an Herb should not taxed.The Reality is that Cigarettes and Alcohol are taxed and so will Pot.This is for Recreational Use.The Reason we are excepting this Tax Act is because of the way it is written.The Tax Act Paves the way for a Proliferation of Cannabis Harm Reduction Centers.This will make Cannabis available to all and quit beating around the Bush.THE 21 AGE LIMIT is also a stickler because it does not address the Reality of the 18 to 21 year old cannabis users.This is an Improvement any way we look at it though.This will be a Boon for The City of San Francisco if a Harm Reduction Center is the result.Dennis used to be criticized for being to Loose and Inclusive.Good for Dennis,he always knew deep down we would win someday and a Compromise is the Tax Act.The City will listen to Dennis.He has history and cares about San Francisco and Harm Reduction.Thank You Dennis for all you have done. It's A Lovely Day on The Corridor of Deals.

Mister Rogers never Had The Corridors From Hell in Mind when he was talking about how lovely the Neighborhood was.We believe in having a Lovely Day in the Neighborhood again.Westefield Shopping Center is so Close to Blatant dealing Zone and behavior that need to be checked.The 6th street corridor and The area From 5th to 9th on Market has really gone to hell since the BART construction blight changed the Area when Market was Excavated.The San Francisco Revevelopment agency went after The Blight.The SRO hotels were the Losers.The Drug Dealer have moved in now.There is a significant amount of cannabis slinged in this zone and that can be changed with Harm Reduction.

SIXTH STREET WAS A LOVELY NEIGHBORHOOD IN THE 60S AND into the 70S AND THEN CRACK HAPPENED.



Yes Westfield can Benefit from Harm Reduction.This Area is a Big Tourist Magnet.That also attracts the Herb Slingers that sell Marijuana to the Shoppers, Tourists and Locals.

DO WE REALLY WANT OUR GUESTS AND LOCALS GETTING GAFFED ANYMORE?



The cable Car Turnaround can be a Circus.How many times have you been Downtown and Noticed the Marijuana sales.They will ask just about anyone.They are bold and They don't care that they are creating an unsafe environment when slinging in such a dense Zone.They Deal Herb all around the area and down Powell street sometimes.The Boldest Slingers will ask Tourists in Union Square.They are just trying to survive but they will adjust when they have to look for a REAL JOB!!



The San Francisco Tourist Hub that extends from Fifth and Market has it's Tender Moments.The Westfield Shopping Center,Carls Jr. and The Cable Car Turnaround.Take a Stroll in any direction from this area for Two blocks and you will find Two distinct worlds.The Sixth Street Corridor is just a City Block away from this World Class Tourist Hub.The Transients are not always the Issue when it comes to Public Safety.The Biggest Threat to The Safety is the Blatant Dealing of Drugs and The Customers they Attract.This happens over and over,again and again in this area.The Real issue is as long as this remains lucrative for some of these hard headed entrepreneurs they will continue.The Incentive needs to be removed by taking their Marijuana customers away.We Figure Conservatively Speaking that forty percent of the Deals around here are Cannabis if not more.That will be a Significant decrease and we guarantee it will happen.Someone would have to be a major Dumb ass to continue to buy from thugs who may Gaff them instead of coming to the Harm Reduction Center.The Cannabis Tax Act is Paving The Way.WE are Putting these Thugs on Notice Now.These thugs who walk around the Chess Table area and wander from there to the cable car turnaround back toward the Sixth Street corridor slinging Herb think they are Slick and No One Sees them.WTF You are so damn obvious and you are not doing the City a Favor that's for sure.This area has a Vice Sweep now and then and then it is Business as usual.The Business as usual can be interrupted with the Proper Harm Reduction strategy.The First order is to Have Cannabis Sold over the counter in the harm Reduction center.The Price will be lower and the quality better.The Product will be all California Grown and will never be funding a Cartel.Twenty Percent of the Proceeds will be taken off the Top for The Homeless Independence Initiative.This will be using one Substance/Herb that bears a Stigma to Help Eradicate another Stigma.We are Sure That Oaksterdams pioneers will approve.San Francisco Needs to try something Different.The Definition of insanity is what?Doing The Same Thing over and over again expecting Different results.WE want to stop the Insane policy of just Letting these Dealers continue as if San Francisco doesn't know this happens.This is Common Knowledge to the Locals and KINDA becomes Obvious to the Tourists the First Time they are approached and asked if they want some weed.We want to make damn sure our Guests don't get gaffed,Real Talk!!We want the Tourists to obtain a Better Product that is California Grown and Organic.The Tourists deserve better and so does San Francisco.The Passion Cafe on Sixth street is the Newest Member to the Neighborhood.They are True Pioneers and Urban Heroes.They Believe in a Brighter Future for The Tourism in this area.WE do also and will help facilitate this Dream.I Personally remember a Better Neighborhood when I was Young.The Fascination Game,The Pool Hall and The Hot Dogs,Woolworth's and taking the Cable Car to the Marina.I am a Baby Boomer SF Native who is going to be the Principal of the Harm Reduction center.The Area has become better in many respects and this "Thorn in their Side Issue" can be managed using Common Sense.It's a Lovely day in the Neighborhood.Yes Mister Rogers when you went on the Air The 6th Street Neighborhood was Lovely.We can have that happen again.GOD BLESS ALL

There is a Brave French Restaurant that Just Opened their doors on The Sixth Street Corridor from Hell.This would be the Last Place One would expect to find a French Restaurant but there sure enough is One now.The Passion Cafe.


The Adventure will be worth it.The Neighborhood may be a Bit Seedy but the Food is Great and The Price is reasonable.For the Food,We really Don't Know about how reasonably Priced The Crack is and Won't Ask. JUST IGNORE THEM and GOD WILL FORGIVE THEM.REMEMBER THEY LIVE HERE.

The French do Amazing things with Chicken and Beef and whatever Fruit and Vegetables that happen to be in season.

Imagine Coq Au Vin and A Tarte Framboises with a Tangy Sweet Sauce with a Dark Chocolate base.YUMMY!


Decent Food in the Middle of Big Indecency.Imagine A Pate and Pain Appetizer and Then Beef Bouruignon and a Creme Brulee for Dessert,on Sixth Street!Yes Indeed when you Round that Corner on Market and Sixth and Think you are in the Wrong Neighborhood.Keep on going because you are in the Right neighborhood for Some Good French Food.The Passion Cafe has You Covered.


GOOD FRENCH COMFORT FOOD.THIS STUFF IS GOOD.COME SIT ON THE ROOFTOP PATIO.


The Passion Cafe is a Trail Blazer in the Middle of the Muck.The Passion Cafe is an Island of Sanity in the Corridor from Hell.The Name is truly fitting because the Owners took a few years putting the cafe together.There story is really incredible.They overcame many obstacles and the fact that the building is 100 years old.The Permit Process alone was over a year and a half.Steve Barton one of the Buildings Owner and Founder of the Cafe is also a contractor so he was familiar with the frustration these kind of projects can be.His business Partner Jacques Andre also participated in the process and has found the Neighbors to be friendly.This Restaurant is a Classic French Style Restaurant with all the trimmings.The Passion starts of as a Coffee and Pastry Pit stop in the Morning where many a Taste bud will be teased by the thought of French food and the Anticipation will build.They will return if they are curious enough regardless of the neighborhood.The Lunch and dinner crowd gets to chose from a fairly large menu selection of classic French dishes.The Coffee is tasty and smooth and the Food is very good.The Price is reasonable and I am sure the Roof top Patio will be a BIG hit as time progresses.These French Diners can have a Live Version of "Cops" some day Who Knows.The District is close to Shopping Relatively speaking and tourists will find this place I'm sure of it.The Place has a Certain draw because it Sticks OUT and is not what We expected to seen when We realized what was being built.We were Pleasantly surprised.The gentrification advocates will have nothing bad to say about this move.No Doubt Steve Barton and Jacques Andre are True Believers that the future for 6th street will be Rosier.That is why a Harm Reduction Center is needed so badly so More Heroes like Steve and Jacques take risks and go through the Bullshit and Hell the entire Process is.They are seeing the appreciation in the residents of the area actually because they realized these men were not daunted by the area and respected everyone.THEY believed in the residents future instead of going to a Better Neighborhood they want to help make this the New good neighborhood.They will open the flood gates and a proliferation of small businesses WILL save the 6th street area.When I was born IN THE 50s this area was much nicer and that will happen again if The Right Harm Reduction Methods are Implemented.The Future for 6th street is Exciting and will be raised out of the Tenderloin Muck and improved.We're sure of it.
